2. Share "10 Honest things" about yourself.
3. Present this award to 7 others whose blogs you find brilliant in content and/or design, or those who have encouraged you.
4. Tell those 7 people they've been awarded HONEST SCRAP and inform them of these guidelines in receiving the award.
Thanks Cas, I know it's tough to blog and get caught up with everything, but I do appreciate it and I think all our friends and family enjoy a little insight to our world. Love you, sweetheart!
10 Honest Things about ME
- I was kicked in the head by a horse as a child. I was with my Aunt while she was feeding the horses when one of the dogs came running up barking at the horse. The horse kicked, and I went down. I was knocked out for a few seconds and when I came to my Aunt was freaking out and carrying me back to the house. I remember her asking me if I was okay, and responding, "No". I recall not being in that much pain, but just shocked that she would ask me such a question. I think, honestly, she felt worse than I did.
- My dad and I both enjoy people watching and lip-reading. I've never seen him buy a thing from the mall.
- I love eating at the food court at the mall. I think it has something to do with the thing I mentioned above.
- I do some pretty technical stuff for my job, things that I know are difficult to learn, and more difficult to teach. Even with all of that, I can spend 10 hours working on a silly spreadsheet or a powerpoint that most people could finish in half an hour.
- I love chicken wings
- I probably communicate with wife more than most people communicate with their spouses, even with us not getting to spend a lot together these past few weeks. Thanks to GoogleTalk, e-mail, phone calls, and GoogleVideochat, we are always in touch.
- I once gave an appliance to my wife as a Christmas gift. I know, now. I think everyman should make this mistake at least once in their lives, and most men or guys I know would agree.
- I have had 5 ipods in my life and only had to pay for one of them.
- I have contributed to two books.
- I didn't learn to blow a bubble with bubblegum until about 2 years ago and just this past month learned how to play with a yo-yo.
I think I'll defer sending this to 7 people and let anyone reading feel free to respond ![]()
