Atlanta
Eric and I went to Atlanta for the weekend.
We stayed in the Dunwoody area. The traffic was not bad and the surrounding area was fantastic. While in Atlanta we were accompanied by our friends, Jamel & Jessica. It was very nice to know people where we were staying. We definitely would not have ventured out too far without natives. Even though we had our GPS, Jillian, it is still easy to get turned around in Atlanta. We thank J & J for their hospitality.
While we were in Atlanta we shopped and browsed at a few national stores that we do not have the privilege of here in Birmingham.
We visited Ikea!!!! Ikea was major sensory overload. There were so many shapes, colors, and things that my brain defiantly needs to be rested before it goes back. I did not come out empty handed but will still welcome a second trip.
We also visited the Home Depot sister stores of "The Container Store" and "Expo: Home Design". They were pretty neat to look at some of the storage solutions at TCS and the demo kitchens and baths at Expo. Home Depot has now announced that they all closing the trail Expo stores. Good thing we went when we had the chance.
We had a blast trying and somewhat succeeding finding our way around Atlanta during our weekend away. Thank goodness we had Jillian or we might still be in Atlanta!!!!!!

So fun! We still need to plan a trip to go sometime.
