While I am home for the Jewish New Year, I have a few goals to accomplish.  One that is very high on my list can now be crossed off.  Painting the rocking chairs.  I bought these rocking chairs in May for $30.00 each.  The cheapest I have seen them retail for is $180.00 each.  The kicker with these was that we Eric had to put them together.  Then we I had to paint them.  It really turned out to be a rather labor intensive project.  Although It took me over 6 hours today to paint them and Eric another 6 to put them together, we saved atleast $300.00.  We saved about $25 for each hour (total 12) that we put in.  Now we are much prouder of this completed project.
