"Our Investment Property"
That is what we like to call our house in Montgomery that we just can not seem to sell.
The first week in January we found out that the people that were set to be closing on our home in March had decided that they were going to move. Turns out that the couple did not get the jobs that they were planning on finically and that they could no longer afford to live in our house. They moved in with a family member.
In the past two weeks there was another offer on our house. The guy that was interested in purchasing was wanting everything to his benefit and offering nothing in return. Unfortunately for him we are not in debt and we have always lived below our means and we will not be bulled into giving our house away. I am sure you can tell that I am still bitter about this. I just don't feel that unexpected charges on his taxes are in any way, shape or form mine and Eric's problem. With that said, that is the end of that non-deal.
We will continue to ask the Lord what to do in this situation. For some reason, unknown to Eric and I, it is not yet time for us to close on our Millbrook home.
We our blessed that our home was not damaged in last weekends tornado in Prattville. Our house was right in the path, there was damaged in our negiborhood, but we did not have any at all. It just reminds me that when you look around you can always find people that have more problems than you. There is always somehting to be thankful for.
